About:

Societal viewing of customer service jobs is a two sided coin. On one end the jobs are often thankless and under appreciated, seen as a stepping stone for someone to get through college or as a place holder until they get a “real” job. On the flip side, these are the people you go out of your way to get your coffee from, wait to sit in their section, or share your highs and lows with over their bar.. These are the  people providing you with top tier experiences that leave you feeling like a member of your own personal Cheers.

Industry workers thrive in high functioning chaos. Pivoting on the fly, organizing and reorganizing mental task lists, absorbing criticism, reading people quickly, and sweating through it all. The industry is a calling to charismatic oddballs and merry misfits who find a dysfunctional yet functional family in one another

They are the holders of tales of customer behavior, good or bad, swapped like battle stories around the bar at the end of a grinding brunch or slammed dinner service. It is in these stories that comradery is built. A unique bond produced through pandemonium and empathy cultivated in an attempt to satiate their community.

The richness of these stories deserve the stage.
